I have been eyeing on the Sizzix Pop n Cuts by Karen Burniston since it came out. I finally bought one since JoAnn's have them and they are on sale last Sunday, 40% off plus I have a $5.00 off any purchases over $25.00, what a deal especially you can no longer use any coupons on any dies at JoAnn's.
Here's the first card I made, it is for my Father-in-law who's birthday is on May 24th which happens to be same as my younger brother. Gotta mail this card today since my father-in-law is in Portugal.

Nurses Week is just around the corner
To all my friends who are Nurses
HAPPY National Nurses Week!
This card was made using the Cricut cartridge Forever Young. The nursing uniform I had to manually tweak it so it will resemble the Divine Word University of Tacloban's College of Nursing Uniform.

Here's what I came up with using an old mini drawer and altered it for Mother's Day
Project Recipe
Mini drawer
Mod Podge
Washi Tape
Assorted Flower Embellishments
Mason Jar stamped and colored on Transparency Sheet
Embossed Eiffel Tower Die Cut
Pink Jute Twine
DCWV cardstock printed papers
Viva's Inka-Gold Indian Yellow
Inkssentials Memory Glass
Items from KinderStampO:
The mini drawer is one of my flea marker/swap meet find. I sanded it a bit and then used a textured paper as the trim around the drawer glued using my favorite mod podge. I then got a die cut of the Eiffel tower using the Summer in Paris Cricut Cartridge. I then dried embossed the die using a cuttlebug embossing folder and lightly dabbed a bit of Viva's Inka-Gold Indian Yellow. Then I started embellishing the 3 sections of the drawer.

Cards By Lady Anne's Sentimental Friday Challenge #9
Mother's Day

Because of that I went ahead and used the digital stamp Mom provided by
Challenge #9 sponsor Bugaboo Stamps.
So come on over and join me together with the other Cards by Lady Anne's Design Team.
Here's the card I made and hope it helps you be inspired. I used the flip-it card.
Just like the last challenge instead of coloring the digital stamp, I printed it on two different card stocks and cut them to form the paper tole. :)

Quickutz Fashion Doll Dies
For a while now I have been wanting to buy Quickutz Fashion Doll Dies, I finally won them on ebay and I got the bride and groom die for free. How did I get a free bride and groom die? I received two envelopes from the ebay seller, I thought the items I bid on was shipped separately. But when I open one envelope it contains a different die and the invoice attached is for a different buyer. I emailed the seller right away and told her that I am willing to ship the die back to her all she needs to do is pay for the shipping, to make a long story short she agreed on it and told me that for what I did she will give me a free die.
Now I have been playing with the fashion dolls. I have been using vellums, laces, fabric tapes. Here's what I got so far. Check out what I have so for below. Let me know what you think.
I was able to get the OK from Quickutz to be able to sell them on my etsy store. I have already added a few on my etsy store, Anela's Creations on Etsy.

I may have taken the project literally but I love how it turn out. I used the fuchsia bling and position to the same shape as the road on the inspiration photo. I used the blue ribbon to represent the blue skies and the white flower as the cloud. Covered the frame with a printed scrapbooking paper.

Cards by Lady Ann's Challenge #7 (2/22 to 3/28)
Happy Friday everyone, what are you creating this weekend?
I have been MIA, since my vacation last January 19th to February 5th no particle reason for it except for being so excited for my friend who is getting married in June and since I will not be able to attend the wedding I went ahead and I teamed up with another BFF in gifting our friend her wedding invitations, giveaways and thank you cards to match which is keeping me real busy right now.
I will be posting more about this as I go along with the creative process.
But for now why don't you head on over to Cards by Lady's Ann Blog for the next Challenge.
It's Friday Sentimental Challenge # 7. The winner of the challenge will receive 2 digi stamps from
this challenge sponsor, Stamp N Doodle.
this challenge sponsor, Stamp N Doodle.
Here's the digistamp that I picked is from Stamp N Doodle:
Here's the card I made with this digital stamp:
Card Recipe:
Graphic 45 A Proper Gentleman Collection - Man About Town cardstock
Recollection Red Cardstock
Cheery Lynn Doily Die
Adobe Photoshop Elements 6
G Studio my world is brighter because of you wood stamp
G Studio simply enjoy it all wood stamp
Martha Stewart Border doily punch
3D Foam adhesive
I am really looking for a gentleman look on this card. This digi stamp reminds me of my Grandpa watching over our little cousin Regan in the rain. It's been 9 year since my Granpa 'Lolo' passed away but I really miss him. He has been like a father to me and my brother.
You may not be able to see it but I used paper tole technique on the digi stamp. After I colored the digi stamp using Adobe Photoshop Elements I printed it 4 times. I accordingly cut in a way to give it depth or 3D Look.
I really welcome all comments. Let me know what you think.
Have a great weekend!
